The mask has only two ingredients - Dead Sea Mud, Grapefruit Seed Extract. This was definitely the reason i decided to give it a try. I don't like products which include fillers or any-other unwanted additives just to bring up artificial smell and texture. The smell of this mud mask is kind of weird but is not intolerable.
The container has all details including the directions to apply, ingredients and the benefits of using the mud making the whole process easier even for the first-timers.

My Experience:
I used it about once a week for few weeks now and i feel my skin getting fresher and softer after every use. It is very relaxing when we massage it slightly, before washing. The mask dried faster than i expected and it can be easily washed off without issues.
When i used it on face for the first time, I did experience a slight prickling sensation which was new for me. I applied a even layer of this mud on my face and neck and relaxed for about 20-25 minutes. By then the mask got completely dry and i was able to feel the tightness of skin.
You can take this to next level, a home-spa experience, by placing cucumbers or this wonderful Lavender eye pillow on your eyes!!
It sometimes becomes watery and the mud settles down separately, so we have to mix it well before using.

- The mask makes the skin softer, smoother and also controls acne issues on regular usage.
- This has a weird smell and personally i didn't like it. However, it is not something intolerable!

Write commentsI would use this product as it has no additives nor fillers. I would just keep it out of my kids hands so they won't play with it.
ReplyI LOVE anything 100% natural and I ADORE mud masks. I am going to confess, I use them on my legs, my chest where I feel I am aging more rapidly and just love it! I love that there are no chemical things in there that can harm us and YES Dead Sea products WORK!
ReplyMy daughter and I love to do spa nights. I like this idea that this mask is natural and would be good for her young teen skin. It has breakouts that need cleansing but don't need to be stripped.

ReplyNow this is something I am not used to seeing. It seems like this is actually the mud collected from the Dead Sea? If so, that may be why it has a funny smell because it is actual mud and not made from clay powder like many masks are. I am wondering if the smell could be diminished with the addition of a fragrant essential oil or something? Glad that is is good to your skin!
ReplyI absolutely love this product. The product container and label are stylish and sturdy. The mud mask has a slight smell that is soothing to me, I don't mind the fragrance at all and after using the product my face felt a lot smoother and looked more clear (complexion wise). ReplyIt's what you would expect,dead sea mud mask in a container. It looks like mud, it smells like mud. This product is great, I find my skin very cleansed and soft after using it in my weekly applications.
